Brief Profile of Chief Gary Nnachi Enwo-Igariwey Chief Gary Nnachi Enwo-Igariwey was born on 6th January, 1954 in his home town, Afikpo, Ebonyi State of Nigeria. He obtained his Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry at the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) in 1977; Masters in Public Administration (MPA) at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) in 1986. From 1981 to 1985, he worked with the Hoechst Group of Germany as Assistant Industrial Manager (Nigeria). He was Pioneer Chairman of the Governing Council, College of Education (Technical), Arochukwu (1991-1993), and at the Federal Psychiatric Hospital, Calabar (2001-2002). He was Chairman of Board, Federal Medical Centre, Asaba (2002-2004) He has received several awards from local and international organizations one of which is Agu-Na-Eche-Mba of Afikpo. He is married to Chief Mrs. Martina Igariwey and they have three sons. Chief Igariwey served for four years as President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo from 12th January, 2013 to January 10, 2017.
